That this particular package is an overlay carrying that value is a reasonable reading of the name and the mechanism rather than a documented fact: Samsung publishes no manifest or documentation for it, so the exact resources it carries could not be sourced.\n\nVersion note: the release boundaries here are on the AOSP side. Android 10 introduced support for WPA3 and Wi-Fi Enhanced Open, and AOSP states that \"Android 12 also supports WPA3 Hash-to-Element (H2E) authentication exchange\", so an H2E-specific overlay only has anything to say from Android 12 onwards. That matches this site's data, where the package's lowest recorded target SDK is 31, which is Android 12. The Wi-Fi module is delivered in APEX format on devices running Android 11 or higher, so from that release its resources travel with the module and are versioned alongside it.
