A Samsung component labelled "IMS Settings" on the device, and the settings counterpart to Samsung's IMS Service above. It is signed by the same Samsung OEM keys that sign the Android framework and has no launcher entry in our sample, so it is not an app a user opens from the home screen. Every build observed here reports version 1.0, on devices from API 28 to API 37. Samsung publishes no public documentation for this package. Beyond its label, its signer and its evident pairing with the IMS stack, which settings it exposes and which component reads them cannot be sourced, and this note does not guess. What can reasonably be said is that it belongs to the carrier voice-over-IP path described above rather than to anything a device administrator configures. For Android Enterprise, EMM and kiosk work it has no enrolment or management role. Because its relationship to a working IMS stack is undocumented, disabling it is an untested change to a component sitting next to calling, so it does not belong in a bulk debloat list without testing calls on a real device afterwards. A safe-to-disable rating has deliberately been omitted rather than asserting one that cannot be supported. Version note: community reports suggest that access to some hidden IMS and network diagnostic menus reachable from the dialler may have changed on more recent Samsung builds, and place that change around recent One UI releases. Neither the change itself nor its timing could be confirmed against an authoritative Samsung or AOSP source, so both are recorded here as an open question rather than as fact.

• Signed by the device maker's own signing key (Samsung), so it is an OEM preinstall, but 2 different certificates appear across the fleet, so OEMs ship their own builds of it. It also signs the Android framework, so it is a platform-level key on its device(s). Inferred from the certificate appearing only on Samsung devices (508 packages, 10196 observations).

• APK size ranges from 1.1 MB to 16.5 MB across the reporting device profiles, so the build differs substantially between them.
• Never reported as user-facing, so it runs as a background or system component rather than an app the user opens.
