Labelled "Group Sharing" on the device, this is Samsung's shared-content service for Galaxy devices. It backs the sharing features built into Samsung's own apps, principally shared albums in Gallery and shared calendars in Calendar. Samsung's support guidance shows the user-facing side of this: a shared calendar is created from the Samsung account section of the Calendar app, and a shared album from the Albums tab in Gallery, with people invited either by choosing contacts and Samsung accounts or by sharing a link. The Calendar guidance states that the device must be signed in with a Samsung account. In our sample the package is signed by a Samsung OEM key that also signs the Android framework, and it has no launcher entry, which fits a background service rather than an app users open. For Android Enterprise, EMM and kiosk fleets the interest here is as a data-sharing path. The documented purpose is to move photos, calendar entries and similar content out to other people through a Samsung account, which is the sort of egress route corporate device policy usually wants to account for. Nothing in the cited sources gives it an enrolment or management role. What the sources do not establish is what happens when it is blocked. Samsung documents the shared-album and shared-calendar features from the user's side but does not document this package's dependencies, so the effect of disabling it is unverified: blocking it may well stop those options working in Gallery and Calendar, and it may affect other Samsung apps that are not named in the guidance reviewed here. Treat it as a change to test on one device with the relevant apps in use before applying it fleet-wide, rather than as a known quantity. Version note: this package has been renamed in the user interface. Our own label data records it as "Samsung Experience Service" on older observations and as "Group Sharing" across current ones, so an administrator searching a console or an older runbook for "Samsung Experience Service" is looking at the same package. The One UI release in which the label changed is not something we can source. The builds recorded here run from 13.6.10.35 to 13.9.00.39 with target SDKs from 31 to 37, observed on devices from API 28 to API 37.

• Signed by the device maker's own signing key (Samsung), so it is an OEM preinstall, and that single certificate is consistent across all 22 device profiles. It also signs the Android framework, so it is a platform-level key on its device(s). Inferred from the certificate appearing only on Samsung devices (508 packages, 10196 observations).
• Its largest observed manifest declares 82 permissions: 11 runtime (user-granted), 9 signature or system-level, 16 install-time and 46 vendor or uncatalogued.
• Reported as an updated system app on 12 of 22 profiles - a newer build is installed over the one in the system image there.
